How To : Create QR Codes
Today, I am gonna share a cool and awesome website with you guys using which you can easily create a QR Code of your data. For those of you who don’t know what a QR Code really is here is a brief introduction to QR Codes.
What is a QR Code?
QR stands for qurifying. QR are codes are a type of bar codes.QR codes are actually 2 dimensional bar codes, As bar codes contains information in them which can then be read by a bar code reader as we see in shopping marts. QR Codes also contains information such as text, link etc. which can be read by any modern smart phone. Most of the smartphones have a built in app for that. In android we have an app called NeoReader which can read QR codes using the camera lens.
What can you do using QR Codes?
By using QR codes you can make anything interactive. For example you can put one on your business card with some useful information or you can put one in promotional flyers with a link to google maps telling them how to reach to your office. You can put one of books with information like from where to buy the book. There are many more uses of QR codes. I can just keep on going. So, without wasting more time let’s get started with how to actually create these codes.
How to create QR Codes?
Creating QR code is very easy and fast. Just visit qurify.com. There you will see a big blue box, in that box just put the information which you want to qurify i.e. the information which will be contained by your QR code. After putting the information just click in the quirfy button. That’s your QR code is ready to be used and spread. Your code will appear on the right hand side in a few seconds. One thing to note is that you can put only a limited information in codes. In this case its maximum 255 characters.
